Rushing the Season?

Photography - SnowfallThe snowmen are for sale
in September.
Jingle bells plays
before Halloween.
I close my eyes, I cover my ears.
It is fall, it is fall, IT IS FALL!

And now THIS this morn.
Even nature conspires to put me
in the holiday mood.
Thinking of a cocoa
with a peppermint stick.

I agree! It’s just wrong!

Nicely put. Christmas seems to come earlier every year.

Thanks, Tim!

It’s sad the way it’s been commercialised but hey, if I were running a shop I’d do the same.

Yes, it’s probably not the retailers’ fault, but rather, the over-materialistic public.

Wow! It’s beautiful but it reminds me of how cold it is. Christmas has become way too commercial so I don’t bother much any more.

Me either. I put up the tree and send cards every other year. It comes around too early and too fast for me!
