Baglietto Just Launched the First Superyacht in Its New DOM115 Line

One of Baglietto’s new superyachts just got a taste of some Italian waters.

The shipyard officially launched its first DOM115 model, this week from its La Spezia facility. Designed by longtime Baglietto collaborator Stefano Vafiadis, the smallest vessel in the DOM line echoes the sporty design language of its larger predecessor, the DOM133, but leaves its bigger stature behind. The result is a lean and agile 115-footer designed to be an extension of the ocean itself, marking the debut of an entry-level model to the DOM lineup.

Along with a steel and aluminum hull, the new launch offers up an exterior with Baglietto’s classic strong lines, wide glass expanses, and stepped aft deck, which splits across three descending levels that cascade toward a sea-view pool. It’s a layout designed to blur the lines between the deck and water, emphasized by the side-mounted tender garage that keeps outdoor space uncluttered.

The main deck is lined with large panoramic windows, filling the interior with natural light and, again, attempting to erase the divide between indoor and outdoor. The upper deck, styled in the same vein as a fluid, open-air veranda, features full-height windows that open on three sides, immersing the ship in its surrounding marine landscape.

This time around, Baglietto opted to go with their in-house team to design the yacht interiors. Oak wall paneling and walnut flooring are complemented by blue accents in both lacquer and leather, and geometric patterns can be found throughout the walls and ceiling. Touches of elegance can be found throughout the yacht, too, with fine marble flooring and bronzed mirrors and glass, a modern twist on Liberty style.

“This new vessel marks an important step toward greater accessibility to high-end customization,” Fabio Ermetto, CCO of Baglietto, said in a press release. “The project stands out for the shipyard’s exceptional construction flexibility, allowing extensive personalization of layouts, materials, and finishes . . . We have the feeling this model will be a great success as it combines the features of a much larger yacht with the operational advantages of a 35m.”

The DOM115 is powered by two MAN engines and can cruise at a maximum speed of 14.5 knots. The next available hull is scheduled for delivery in 2026, according to Baglietto, and the shipyard has a version with hybrid propulsion in the works as well. Seems like we’ll see more from the DOM line soon enough.
