Jeep Unveils 2025 Easter Jeep Safari Concept Lineup

One of the American off-roading community’s most beloved traditions is nearly upon us.
The annual Easter Jeep Safari will be held over the next week and change in Moab, Utah. But before the annual trail ride kicks off on Saturday, the automaker has shared this year’s roster of seven rough and rugged concepts—almost all of which feature retro-inspired designs.
Established in 1967, the Easter Jeep Safari—which was started by the Moab Chamber of Commerce but now run by Red Rock 4-Wheelers—is one of the largest gatherings of 4×4 enthusiasts in the U.S. each year, with the 2024 edition of the event drawing 20,000 attendees, according to Autoweek. It has also, in recent years, become an opportunity for Jeep and its parent company, Stellantis, to show off the most over-the-top off-roaders it can dream up. This year’s crop of vehicles may lack the technical innovation of past years’s classes despite coming equipped with Jeep Performance Parts from Mopar, but that doesn’t make the septet any less cool.

Kicking things off this year, is the Convoy, a military-inspired take on the 2025 Gladiator which features several design nods to the J-series truck from the early 1970s. It rides on 40-inch BFGoodrich tires, features canvas half-doors, and has a Warn 12,000-pound winch up front. It’s followed by the Wrangler 4xe-based Bug Out, an ultra-stripped-down overland rig. All but the most essential parts of the original vehicle—including its side flanks and a set of doors— have been removed and replaced with new carbon-fiber elements to keep weight to a minimum.
The most nostalgic of this year’s concept is the Rewind. It’s a stock two-door wrangler, down to the 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine, but is finished in Grimace Purple and has a neon graphic package that would have been at home on MTV in the ’80s. The Wrangler 4xe Blueprint Concept, on the other hand, is the most modern build in the bunch. It’s basically a factory-built version of the popular 4×4 that has been equipped with every possible Mopar accessory, including steel bumpers, a snorkel kit, and tube doors.

Up next is the third and final of the Wrangler 4xe concepts. The Sunchaser is finished in Solar Flash and Satin Black and includes the all the off-road gear you need to have fun on the trails form sunup to sundown. Then there is the Gladiator High Top Honcho Concept, which is a modified Gladiator Rubicon with a ’70s-style paintjob, roll bar, and 40-inch BFGoodrich all-terrain tires.
Rounding things out is the J6 Honcho Concept. With it, Jeep has taken a four-door Rubicon and chopped off the back half of the cabin to make the bed even bigger and added several pieces of custom hardware, including new front bumper and a roll bar with a four-light array. The resulting build is one of the coolest off-roading trucks you’ll see this year.
