All The Greatest Purple Carpet Seems From The Trend Belief Awards

At the Fashion Trust Awards—US edition—celebrities brought their A-game style to descend on the red carpet in Los Angeles.

The inaugural event was established to celebrate the industry’s up-and-comers, and its awards are dedicated to “discovering, funding, and nurturing” young American design talent, as per the organisation’s website.

Taking home awards and grants were a handful of designers: Aisling Camps, recipient of the Ready-to-Wear Award; Soull and Dynasty Ogun of L’Enchanteur, recipients of the Jewellery Award; Papa Oppung, recipient of the Graduate Award; Agbobly, recipient of the Inclusivity Award; Elena Velez for the Sustainability award; and Carly Mark and Ayla Argentina of Puppets and Puppets for the Google Creativity Award.

Naturally, the guests were impeccably dressed for the occasion, including a slew of celebrities. Tracee Ellis Ross, who presented the Jewellery award, attended the event wearing Erdem. Consisting of a deep purple devoré dress with ruched gloves in a bright chartreuse hue, the look was unmistakably the work of her stylist Karla Welch.

Actress Demi Moore also had an iconic moment on the carpet, channelling her Charlies Angels: Full Throttle character Maddison Lee in a luxurious furry coat, sheer green Givenchy mini dress and black pumps.
