Argue Amongst Yourselves, These Are The Best-Dressed Stranger Things Cast Members
While the die-hard fans have already binged their way through the entirety of season 4, I’m at the midway point through the newest Stranger Things season, and instead of thinking about the upside down, the question that is plaguing me is: which cast member is the best dressed?
As well as being one of the most-watched series on Netflix, the show has proven to be one of the most relevant in fashion. It has undergone countless collaborations, including having its own pair of Nike Tailwind sneakers and releasing a collaboration with this very magazine.
Not to mention that the cast members attract style headlines on their own, thanks to Caleb McLaughlin’s sneaker collection, Millie Bobby Brown’s make-up line, and this outlandish suit worn by David Habour.
Beyond the screen, Stranger Things has become a show with seemingly never-ending cultural and style relevance. And in case you needed proof, we have collated our favorite outfits worn by its cast members since the show first aired in 2016.
Have a scroll through the list below to fill the time until the show’s final season is released.
Pointed-Collar Textured Jacket
Kolkata Striped Cotton Trousers
House Leather Shoes
Short-Sleeved Layered Denim Shirt
Understandably, a lot of the press around Stranger Things revolves around the group of school kids that it is centered around, but Brett Gilman proves the power of age with his style.
The self-proclaimed “Jaddy” (aka Jewish zaddy) has become an admittedly unlikely source of fashion inspiration which we caught onto after a host of red carpet looks that stuck out amongst the usual landscape of black suits. There’s been his printed Dries Van Noten two-piece, pastel pink camp collar shirt, and full Bode outfits, which the look above is one of.
SSS World Corp
Wide-Leg Tailored Trousers
Before we start talking about clothes there’s one thing we need to address: Joe Keery’s locks. His brunette waves have caused an obsessive internet fandom, while he reportedly doesn’t wash his hair or pay for haircuts. He also has style to go with the luscious locks.
Case in point: this smart-casual outfit he brought out for a Stranger Things premiere. It’s not easy to pull off a colorful graphic shirt, but he managed it.
Crepe Satin Scarf-Collar Shirt
Silk Blend Satin Lounge Pants
Anthony Embellished Leather Penny Loafers
A breakout star from the Stranger Things series and another man with an exceptional coiffure, Finn Wolfhard’s 70s-inspired style has not gone unnoticed and it even landed him a Saint Laurent campaign.
Complete with slouchy cardigans, ribbed polo shirts, and skinny-fitting silhouettes, his style lives somewhere between grandad-core and 70s rockstar. This shiny satin look fits more into the latter category.
Go Leopard Denim Jacket
Go Leopard Denim Pant
“When I put on an outfit that I really like, it just builds my self-confidence. I like good fabrics, colors that make me pop,” Caleb McLaughlin told us in a previous interview, and he has continued to deliver on colorful outfits since then.
The actor is a big sneaker enthusiast with a large collection of rare shoes and his style is more streetwear-oriented than the other cast members. However, he can still dress up for the big occasions, as this matching set from the Stranger Things season 4 premiere proved.
Logo-Patch Single-Breasted Blazer
GG Stripe Fil Coupé Shirt
Wool Check Cropped Trousers
GG-Hardware Leather Loafers
Charlie Heaton and fellow Stranger Things star Natalia Dyer reportedly started dating in 2017 and have since been ones to watch for their couple style. We’ve seen the two rock sporty Thom Browne looks and get dressed in matching Dior for fashion week, but this outfit takes the top spot for us.
While Dyer wore a blue gown and Heaton opted for casual tailoring, both looks prove the power that the right pair of sunglasses can have to add the finishing touches to an outfit.
Set Of Two Hair Clips
Re-Nylon Logo-Plaque Bandeau Top
Re-Nylon Gabardine Trousers
Chocolate Brushed Leather Loafers
There are some things that are impossible to wrong with, and an all-black Prada look is one of them. This outfit proves that rule, and it combines two things that we have become accustomed to seeing from Sadie Sink: full monochrome outfits and trousers.
It was only right that we finish this list with that David Harbour suit. Graphics from the show’s promotional posters are embroidered into the suit in both the real world and the show’s parallel dimension, aka the ominous Upside Down. As far as suits go, this is one of the most adventurous you will find.
And if that isn’t enough to prove he is unafraid of making a statement with his clothes, check out Harbour wearing a Thom Browne skirt for the brand’s Fall 21 campaign.
