It seems like yesterday that The Royal Hashemite Court announced His Royal Highness Crown Prince Hussein’s engagement to Saudi architect Rajwa Al Saif. After months of anticipation, Jordan’s royal couple said “I do” at the Zahran Palace in Amman.

Rajwa Al Saif looked every inch the fairytale bride during her royal wedding, opting for an elegantly streamlined gown by Lebanese designer Elie Saab. The timeless dress consisted of sleek yet luxurious design details, including a delicate-as-air veil and an extra-long train. Elie Saab pulled inspiration from traditional weddings to create a timeless bridal look for Rajwa Al Saif, opting for a classic colour palette of white and ivory.

The designer incorporated layers upon layers into the royal wedding dress and combined it with hand-sewn beadwork embellishments – applied with couture-level attention to detail – to create the perfect blend of romance and sophistication for Rajwa al Saif’s bridal gown.

For bridal jewellery, Rajwa Al Saif wore diamond earrings and of course, a tiara fit for a princess (and future Queen). The curated accessories shined as she walked down the aisle and perfectly complemented the pear-cut diamond wedding ring given to her by Jordan’s Crown Prince.

An elegant bouquet of flowers and a simple makeup look completed Rajwa Al Saif’s royal wedding day look. She was pictured standing alongside Her Majesty Queen Rania, who opted for a sleek Dior gown styled with a gold bag. The mother of the bride, Azza bint Nayef bin Abdulaziz bin Ahmed Al Sudairi, wore a sophisticated light purple look.

A total of 140 guests joined the bride and groom during the official wedding ceremony, including royals from far-flung corners of the globe. Plenty of the guests posted the event on social media, paired with heartfelt messages congratulating Jordan’s newest royal couple. You can view these images and more from the event below.
