The Hollywood Reporter’s Elisabeth Rabishaw Retiring in 2024

Elisabeth Rabishaw and The Hollywood Reporter on Tuesday announced the upcoming retirement of Rabishaw, an industry veteran and current executive vp and publisher of the venerable brand. After 14 years with the publication, Rabishaw will shift to a consultancy role.

“We are so appreciative for all the dedication, energy and passion that Beth has brought to The Hollywood Reporter over the years,” said George Grobar, president of Penske Media Corporation. “She has had a meaningful impact on both the brand and the team. We thank her for her contributions and wish her much success in her next chapter.”

Said Rabishaw: “I have loved my time at The Hollywood Reporter, which has afforded me so many unforgettable moments. From attending the Emmys and the Oscars, to the upfronts and Comic-Con, I feel like I have seen it all. Leaving is bittersweet, but I will always bleed Hollywood Reporter red, as it is the most beloved entertainment news read in town. I hope to have a subscription for life.”

She continued: “Thank you to Jay Penske and George Grobar for their support and trust in me to lead the brand during some of our industry’s toughest times and especially the way they have embraced my latest decision.”

In her role as publisher, Rabishaw was responsible for overseeing all advertising strategies and revenue streams for global and domestic sales across THR’s platforms. She was also responsible for developing innovative partner content and events for the brand.

The series was recently nominated for the 51st annual Daytime Emmys Awards in the category of outstanding arts and popular culture program.

Rabishaw joined The Hollywood Reporter in July 2010 and was an integral member of the sales management team that launched the brand into a weekly magazine and formidable website. She rose through the ranks from executive director of television and media to vp, senior vp and executive vp, now to her current role as executive vp and publisher. During the pandemic, she worked as an executive producer to bring THR’s annual live event, Women in Entertainment, to Lifetime as an hourlong television special, which garnered a Daytime Emmy nomination.
