A new Porsche 911 GT3 means a new RS is on the way, but not before Manthey Racing releases one last body kit for the current iteration.

The motorsports team, which the automaker owns a majority stake in, has just unveiled its latest take on the most hardcore 911. Past versions have been over-the-top, but the new kit is something else thanks to a monstrous rear wing that helps it produce over 2,000 pounds of downforce.

The 911 GT3 RS is a track-focused variant of what is already a street-legal race car. Introduced in 2001, three years after the launch of the base GT3, it features a more aggressive aero package made from lighter materials, along with several other racing goodies. Manthey began releasing its own modified version of the car last decade, which features even more aggressive body kits and upgraded suspensions. The modifications don’t just result in marginal gains, either, as these cars have set production vehicle lap records at race tracks like the Nürburgring and Silverstone.

Manthey’s latest performance package makes the GT3 RS look more like a race car than a 911. There is a new lip spoiler up front, gurney flaps coming off the wheel arches, and a giant carbon-fiber rear wing with new endplates. The biggest change is that the rear window has been swapped out for a carbon fiber panel that includes a shark fin that connects to the r wing. There are also six smaller fins mounted on the roof and aero-disc covers on the rear wheels to help redirect airflow. These new elements combine to produce 2,204 pounds of downforce at 177 mph.

Manthey’s has worked on more than just the car’s aerodynamic performance, though. The GT3 RS’s 4.0-liter flat-six has been left alone, but the suspension has been tuned—30 percent more spring rate up front, 15 percent more in the back—and equipped with new shock absorbers. The brakes have also been upgraded with new racing-spec brakes. There are also puddle lamps, an optional tow hook, and, of course, special Manthey branding.

Does the idea of having the most hardcore 911 on your next track day appeal to you? The Manthey kit is available to order now, with deliveries expected to begin early next year in Europe and outside the continent by March. The package will cost £83,325, which works out to around $105,000—and doesn’t include the $240,000 911 GT3 RS.
