These steampunk-esque headphones are more than just eye candy, and they should be considering they cost USD 3,000. These headphones have an incredibly thin driver which is impressive along with an ergonomic design that makes them comfortable to wear for long periods. The connectors can also be replaced so that you can use them with different kinds of equipment. On top of that, the design is pretty sleek and cool.

Touted as the “prestige model of the SONOROUS series”, the SONOROUS X houses a 55m diameter driver with a titanium diaphragm. These were designed by jeweller Tournaire, which is the main reason for their hefty price tag—actually, the only reason. According to Headphones.com, the sound quality is the same as the Focal Utopia 2022s, which are much cheaper (but still quite expensive) at USD 6,000.
