There’s Now a Special Garage to Store and Display Your Bugatti
A drive around town isn’t the only way to show off your Bugatti.
The French marque has teamed up with Germany-based Fahrengold on a new luxury garage called the Bugatti Edition FG-01. The slick structure includes almost everything needed to keep a hypercar in tip-top shape and doubles as an ultra-slick display case for the vehicle.
Bugatti is quick to point out that it doesn’t build cars, it builds “bespoke work[s] of art.” As such, the Veyron, Chiron and just-unveiled Tourbillon are really more suited to being parked in a museum rather than a grease-stained garage. Not every Bugatti owner has access to the former, though, which is where the FG-01 comes in.

Bugatti and Fahrengolt’s garage is a structure with an anodized frame specifically designed to hold a seven-figure hypercar. The FG-01 includes its own security system, temperature and moisture regulation systems and plenty of storage for tools and other driving gear. But what’s likely to really appeal to most Bugatti owners is that one of its sides has a floor-to-ceiling window that offers a completely unobstructed view of the vehicle inside. Additionally, there are built-in tire protection pads, as well as a personalized plaque identifying the vehicle.
Each Bugatti is the product of intense collaboration between the automaker and its owner, and so is the FG-01. Each of the garages is specifically tailored to be a perfect match for the vehicle it will house. It takes eight to 12 weeks to create the structure and a shockingly quick 30 minutes to set it up upon delivery, according to Top Gear.

“Whether at a client’s residence, a museum, or an exhibition, this collaboration ensures that every Bugatti masterpiece is presented with the same artistry and care that defines its creation,” Wiebke Ståhl, Bugatti International’s managing director, said in a statement.
It’d be nice if Bugatti owners would actually drive their hypercars, but if they insist on locking them away, this seems like a decent way to do so. No price is mentioned in the announcement, but it seems safe to say that the Bugatti Edition FG-01 Garage will cost a pretty penny. And if all this seems a bit much, don’t worry, because Bugatti and Fahrengold are also selling custom-made CarPads to display the vehicles with a little less fuss.
