Meet “Limerence,” a 174-Foot Superyacht That Is Like an Adventure Park

Alia Yachts has created two yachts in one.

The Turkish yard has delivered a fully custom 174-footer that combines the best parts of a support vessel and a luxury superyacht. Christened Limerence, the newcomer is equal parts functional toy carrier and flashy floating hotel, meaning guests can partake in thrilling ocean activities by day and relax by night.

“It’s the special genius of this design that Limerence is at once a hugely capable standalone superyacht and a peerless support vessel brimming with toys and amenities,” Alia Yachts president Gökhan Çelik said in a statement. “She represents not only the adventurous spirit of her owner, but also Alia’s full-custom building ethos.”

Designed in partnership with Azure Yacht Design, Limerence features a distinctive exterior with blue topsides contrasting dark wraparound glazing. It also showcases an expansive aft that provides space for toys, tenders, and even choppers.

The helideck can be turned into an open-air cinema or nightclub.

The yacht is equipped with a fully certified commercial helideck that can hold large helicopters, like the Bell 429 or Airbus H145. Choppers are able to refuel onboard, too, meaning guests can explore more remote places and stay longer at sea. The helideck can also transform into a sports court with a netted barrier and inflatable supports. The space is perfect for basketball, volleyball, pickleball, football, and golfing.

Below the helideck lies a giant garage with space for all your favorite machines. Limerence can hold four performance tenders, including a custom Wajer 38S, a 41-foot X-Tender, a Ski Nautique GS20, a rescue RIB, and a seven-seat submersible. It also has space for foil boards, seabobs, dive scooters, e-bikes, two sailing catamarans, two sailing dinghies, and kite and windsurfing gear. To top it off, the yacht has a full dive center with 10 full dive sets, an inflatable slide, and an inflatable climbing wall.

“The level of equipment on board is usually reserved for much larger vessels,” adds Çelik. “Packing all that into a sleek 52.5 metre envelope—along with advanced jet fuel systems, anti-heeling stabilization, and launching mechanisms—was a major engineering achievement.”

There is plenty of fun to be had at night, too. Once the sun goes down, the large beach club turns into a candlelit waterside dining area. The helipad can also be converted into a nightclub with a DJ booth or an open-air cinema. You’ll also find plenty of alfresco lounges and dining spots.

Created in collaboration with CT Design Studio, the bright and elegant interior includes two spacious guest cabins and a full-beam owner’s suite. Each features large marble bathrooms with dual vanities. The owner’s suite can be rearranged to accommodate two additional children, and the other two cabins are convertible between double and twin. As such, Limerence is great for larger parties.

The best part is that you can experience Limerence for yourself. The yacht was delivered earlier this year and is now available for charter in the Mediterranean through Christie Yachts. Winter charter locations include the Caribbean, the Bahamas, and potentially Costa Rica. Rates start at €390,000 (about $456,000) per week.
