Cirrus Unveils the New Generation 3 Vision Jet With a Redesigned Cabin
It seems the third time’s a charm for Cirrus.
The Minnesota-based firm just unveiled the third iteration of the Vision Jet, taking the highly successful personal jet to new heights. The new Generation 3 (G3) Vision Jet features a reimagined cabin along with over 30 other refinements to make flying smarter and safer.
“The G3 Vision Jet is a testament to our relentless innovation and continued investment in Personal Aviation and our owners who want to travel efficiently with peace of mind,” Cirrus CEO Zean Nielsen said in a statement.
After a slightly bumpy start, the original Vision Jet hit the market in 2016, making history as the world’s first single-engine personal jet. Cirrus then rolled out the G2 in 2019. The Vision Jet has ranked as the world’s most popular jet for seven years straight, with over 700 delivered worldwide as of 2025, according to Cirrus.
A sleek new bench creates more seating.

First and foremost, the G3 showcases a fresh interior with redesigned seating. The G2 could seat five adults—one being the pilot—and two children, whereas the G3 can carry six adults and one child. That is thanks to a sleek new bench seat replacing the third-row seat. Each seat offers fine-tuned ergonomics, too: The pilot and co-pilot seats can be adjusted with a single hand, while the middle seats can be removed or installed using a nifty lever. They also look good, with a new design that combines a hardshell back with hand-wrapped Alcantara.
The cabin is brimming with other aesthetic refinements, such as new tray tables and device mounts. Owners can now choose between five colorways inspired by movement and destinations, meaning you could coordinate the jet with the rest of your fleet.
The flight deck also received multiple upgrades. Most notably, the new ATC Datalink system means that pilots can now text air traffic control for route updates, altitude assignment, and so on. The exterior was even tweaked, with new wing-tip lights that shine 2.7 times brighter on the ramp. Some signature features remain unchanged, such as the intuitive Perspective Touch+ avionics, the airframe parachute, and the Safe Return Emergency Autoland system. The latter enables the aircraft to make a fully autonomous and safe landing without pilot or passenger intervention.
As for grunt, the G3 is equipped with a Williams International engine capable of 1,846 pounds of thrust. Measuring just over 30 feet from nose to tail, the jet has a range of up to 1,275 nautical miles and a cruise speed of about 365 mph.
Priced at just under $3.7 million, the G3 will make a charming addition to any fleet.
