Lürssen’s New 335-Foot Megayacht Has One of Its Largest Beach Clubs
It’s been a banner year for Lürssen.
The German shipyard just completed its sixth delivery of 2026, marking a record year of new construction. The 335-foot Nixie, previously known as Project JASSJ, set out on her maiden voyage on June 26, showing that she is a big, beautiful addition to the fleet.
The megayacht was designed by British studio RWD, with all engineering and naval architecture executed by Lürssen’s in-house team. Her sculpted exterior combines deep contours and broad convex forms with the yard’s signature elongated bow, resulting in a distinctive yet familiar silhouette. Both her steel hull and aluminum superstructure are finished in a custom warm gray hue with a subtle pearlescent quality that changes with light.

The structural glazing is cleverly integrated into the hull and superstructure, with each pane of glass uniquely shaped and tinted to blend seamlessly with the steel and aluminum. As a result, Nixie feels lighter and more open than some other supersized cruisers.
The interior is equally considered, with delicate stonework and rich woods running throughout. All the furnishings and fixtures are bespoke pieces that RWD sourced from artisans around the world. The living quarters are designed for grand-scale entertaining, with expansive social spaces and 10 cabins for up to 12 guests. The accommodation includes an owner’s suite with a study, two dressing rooms, and dual bathrooms, plus three VIPs, four doubles, and two twins.

The standout feature is the 25-foot glass-bottom infinity pool, which is semi-suspended aft on the main deck and stretches out over the swim platform to create a striking connection between the yacht and the sea. It is surrounded by plush seating and an extendable dining table that can accommodate up to 22 guests.
Below that, the lower deck is outfitted with one of the largest beach clubs in Lürssen history. Sprawling across 2,900 square feet, the indoor-outdoor space offers a bar, dining area, and lounge, along with two large sea terraces and a fold-down transom with direct sea access. Nearby, the sizable gym comes complete with a steam shower, a cryotherapy chamber, and two more fold-out balconies.

In terms of grunt, Nixie is powered by a hybrid diesel-electric propulsion system that ensures efficient operation across a wide range of cruising profiles, according to Lürssen. It also produces less noise, vibrations, and emissions than a conventional diesel-only setup.
If you want to see Nixie in the flesh, the yacht will make her global debut at the Monaco Yacht Show this September. She is also available for charter via Edmiston, with weekly rates starting at 2.4 million euros, or about $2.7 million at the current exchange rate.
