Rezvani’s First Off-Road-Ready Supercar Is the Dune

Rezvani is turning its attention to a new class of vehicle: the supercar.

The California-based shop, which built its reputation on some truly over-the-top custom jobs, just unveiled its latest creation, the ultra-exclusive Dune. The speed machine is an even higher-riding take on the Lamborghini Huracán Sterrato that makes 800 horses.

The Sterrato is the Huracán at its most ridiculous. Released at the tail-end of the V-10’s lifestyle, it was a wedge-shaped supercar designed specifically for off-roading. As absurd as that may sound, Rezvani clearly doesn’t think that Lamborghini went far enough.

The Dune wears a heavily sculpted body kit made entirely of carbon fiber. The new exterior takes the Sterrato’s already sculpted visage and adds some serious brawn, which can best be seen in the fenders and the roof, which now sports a scoop. The car also has been lifted 4.5 inches, which is 2.8 inches more than the Sterrato. The vehicle also rides on a new set of custom wheels wrapped in 31-inch all-terrain tires. The combination of the lift and the chunky tires means the Dune rides a full six inches higher than the standard Huracán for a total ride height of 11 inches. Rounding things out are some upgraded off-roading accessories, including underbody armor, auxiliary lighting, and a roof-mounted snorkel.

Ride height isn’t the only aspect of the Sterrato that has received a boost, though. The 5.2-liter V-10 that was naturally aspirated in the Huracán now comes equipped with a supercharger developed in collaboration with VF Engineering. This change increases output to a claimed 800 hp, which is nearly 200 horses more than the Sterrato’s 610 hp. No torque figure was released, but that number also figures to be higher (the off-road Raging Bull makes 413 ft lbs of twist). Performance figures also weren’t announced, but the Dune is likely to be fast since the supercar it’s based on can accelerate from zero to 60 mph in 2.5 seconds and reach a top speed of 161 mph.

If you’re in the market for an even more extreme Huracán Sterrato, you’d be well advised to reach out to Rezvani as soon as possible. The shop plans to build just seven examples of the Dune. No price has been announced, but something far in excess of the Sterrato’s $300,000 starting price seems likely.

All is not lost if you do miss out, though. Lamborghini is thinking about releasing more Sterrato models in the future.
