The 8 Most Exciting Debuts at the 2026 Cannes Yachting Festival

Riva

More than 500 boats, ranging from RIBs to superyachts, and nearly 120 world premieres graced the waters of Cannes last week following the 49th edition of the annual Yachting Festival. The six-day event hosted a flurry of debuts and sea trials set against a sunny backdrop of the French Riviera, with builders, brokers, and exhibitors spread across the show’s two designated zones: the Sailing Area and Power Boat Marina in Port Canto, and the Superyacht Extension in Vieux Port.

While visitor numbers were reportedly down (thanks in no small part to a raft of canceled international flights), productivity was up, with a hive of activity coming from new launches to future projects. British builder Oyster Yachts revealed plans for its first bluewater sailing catamaran, the Oyster C60, while Pearl Yachts unveiled the Pearl 73, exterior designed by Dixon Yacht Design with interiors by Kelly Hoppen.

But it was the Italian boatbuilders who came out in a show of force, not least the Ferretti Group, whose collection of 22 yachts at Cannes included four world premieres, three of which made it on to our shortlist of debuts this year. Here are eight of our favorites.
