Sinot Just Unveiled the World’s Largest Full-Length Trimaran Concept
Sinot Yacht Architecture & Design has made quite the splash at Monaco.
The Dutch studio, famous for pushing the envelope in yacht design, unveiled what it says is the world’s largest trimaran superyacht concept at this year’s show. Christened Fusion, the vessel measures just over 98 feet wide and 387 feet long. That means it would comfortably eclipse the 276-foot White Rabbit, currently the world’s largest trimaran, if built.
“Three near-full-length hulls come together as one architecture, and that changes what is possible aboard a yacht of this size,” studio founder and principal designer Sander J. Sinot said in a statement.
The lengthy center hull and the two slightly shorter side hulls create an expansive living area, with supersized interiors and almost 36,000 square feet of exterior deck space. That sheer amount of real estate means the multihull can serve as both an explorer and a superyacht, offering the equipment and volume required for far-flung expeditions as well as the amenities and modcons for life at sea.

“Our owners no longer want to choose between culture and adventure, between serenity and action,” Sinot adds. “Fusion is designed so they don’t have to.”
Designed for both relaxing and entertaining, the layout includes a grand dining lounge, a cinema with a huge 8K MicroLED video wall, a sprawling gym and health area with a counter-current swimming pool, and a nearly 3,300-square-foot wellness area with a fully equipped spa and plunge pool.
A monumental transverse staircase in the lobby rises through the three upper decks, creating a striking centerpiece. At the very top is an owner’s deck with an owner’s residence that comprises dual bathrooms and dressing rooms, a private lounge, office, and a private terrace. Eight additional VIP cabins on the main deck can sleep up to 16 guests. Each one features private loggias with glass transoms that open out to the sea. Two are also equipped with a private sauna.
The dining lounge and the adjoining pool terrace on the upper deck serve as the social heart, offering an 18-seat dining table, two bars, and a glass-bottom pool that overlooks the tenders on the main deck below. Speaking of which, Fusion can hold all the regular toys plus helicopters and VTOL aircraft. To top it off, the foredeck, or what Sinot calls the “Playdeck,” houses a full-size tennis court that can transform into an open-air sports arena for sport or nightclub.
The concept could actually hit the seas, too: Sinot says Fusion is ready to build, with a shipyard able to start detailed engineering without needing to redesign the trimaran.
