Comcast Unveils $10-Month Spanish-Language Package Now TV Latino

Comcast has unveiled plans to launch Now TV Latino as a $10 a-month streaming video product aimed at Spanish-speaking U.S. consumers.

The offering includes 25-plus live Spanish-language streaming channels, and the flagship Peacock online service, for $10 per month. Now TV Latino, to include movies, novellas, sports and live news, will comprise streaming TV and and free ad-supported streaming TV (FAST) channels.

The NBCUniversal parent with its low-end Spanish-language TV offering is building on technology developed for Sky’s Now TV platform, which is billed as a cheaper version of Sky’s other higher-end streaming packages. Earlier, Comcast launched Now TV as a $20 a-month streaming video product aimed at the low end of the U.S. market as it packages linear TV, FAST and subscription video-on-demand channels.

“As we continue our focus on providing unique experiences, differentiated products and bring value to Hispanic consumers, Now TV Latino provides great Spanish-language and English-language content at an affordable price for Hispanic viewers with a wide variety of tastes and interests, with no fees or contracts,” José Velez Silva, vp of multicultural strategy, operations & community engagement at Comcast, said in a statement on Monday.

The cable and broadband giant is also packaging Now TV Latino and Xfinity StreamSaver for $25 per month, and Now TV Latino and the wider Now TV offering for $30/month. In addition, Now TV Latino can be paired with Now StreamSaver for $40 per month, which includes over 40 streaming channels and Apple TV+ and Netflix Standard with commercials.
