On a daily basis, Ring doorbells and cameras capture the most precious footage of our furry friends, and now, the brand is giving back with the help of actress, talk show host and animal lover Drew Barrymore. Join the duo on their mission to donate $500,000 to help shelter animals find loving homes through their new campaign: Ring Pet Portraits.
Through June 14, for every pet video or picture posted with hashtag #RingPets on Instagram or TikTok, Ring will pledge a $10 donation, up to $100,000, to support the ASPCA (The American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals) and up to an additional $400,000 to local animal shelters across the United States.
To help promote Ring’s Pet Portraits campaign, Barrymore featured one of her seven pets, her rescue dog Douglas, in a sweet short film where she ever so lovingly explains to him that he’s a “nepo puppy.” If you, too, think your pet is destined to be a star, submit your photo or video with the hashtag #contest in addition to #RingPets, and Drew Barrymore will select one lucky pet to appear in an upcoming Ring commercial.
Be sure to follow @ring on whichever platform you post, and don’t forget to set your profile to public for your submission to be counted. The image or video must be posted on your static feed — not on your Story. Videos should be 60 seconds or less.
