Meet Sara Azarmi, the trailblazing founder and CEO of the luxury brand Sara’s Passion, renowned for her state-of-the-art designs in jewelry, corsets, and accessories. Sara Azarmi’s journey is a testament to resilience and creativity. Born in Tehran, Iran, in 1984 . Since the age of four, she embarked on her artistic journey with drawing and painting. In her teenage years, she expanded her creative expression by sculpting, and she also pursued a passion for music, collaborating with Perjad Saidian, a skilled musician and maestro of the keys.
Sara moved to the United States in 2001, determined to carve out a new life. Her academic journey spanned three degrees, culminating in a bachelor’s degree in accounting and liberal arts from Ottawa University in Kansas City in 2015. Yet, her heart was set on a different path—art and design. Her artistic flair has been evident since childhood. Her early endeavors included designing her own clothes and adorning her bedroom walls with vibrant artwork. This creative spirit eventually led her to the world of fashion and jewelry design. By 2020, Sara had begun her foray into the industry, and by late 2023, she officially launched her brand, Sara’s Passion, which quickly garnered acclaim in California. Her designs are a blend of ornate traditional styles and unique modern touches. Her love for grandiose gold settings and intricate Victorian detailing shines through in her collections. The launch of her brand marked the beginning of a new chapter, where her creations became a favorite among art enthusiasts and collectors. Her pieces have graced prestigious shows, red carpets, and high-end boutiques like Rock Etiquette on Melrose Avenue. Sara’s personal life is as inspiring as her professional journey. In 2019, she married Perjad Saidian, a maestro of keys, and together they welcomed their son, Lior, in October 2020. This harmonious family life adds a beautiful note to her creative symphony.

Sara Azarmi: One of the biggest challenges was balancing design and aesthetics with sustainability. Creating unique and visually appealing pieces using sustainable materials requires innovative design approaches and working within the limitations of certain materials.

Sara Azarmi: My ultimate dream is to leave a lasting legacy as an artist who creates exquisite jewelry while contributing to a more sustainable and conscious world. What advice would you give to young entrepreneurs starting in the business world?
