Meet ‘Sui Generis,’ Baglietto’s New All-Blue Superyacht

Baglietto has already delivered eight superyachts from the DOM133 line, but the ninth hull is markedly different from her sisterships.
The 133-foot Sui Generis, which the La Spezia-based shipyard launched last week, features a bold cobalt blue hull and superstructure that together give the yacht a distinct visual identity.
Designed by Stefano Vafiadis, the all-aluminum newcomer carries all the hallmarks of the DOM133 series, including generous volumes, panoramic windows that open onto waterside terraces, and a two-level beach club with a pop-up infinity pool. Sui Generis has a few unique features, though.
The aluminum hull and superstructure are finished in a cobalt blue.

The interior layout has been extensively customized, with Baglietto’s in-house design team bringing the owner’s vision to life. The two VIP cabins on the lower deck have been separated by a sliding partition, meaning they can be converted into a second, full-beam owner’s cabin if needed. The central staircase was also modified to create more space in the foyer for a piece of art. To top it off, quite literally, the sundeck has been adorned with a splashy custom-made pool, because, well, one pool just isn’t enough.
In terms of propulsion, the yacht is powered by two Caterpillar C32 engines that enable it to reach a top speed of 17 knots and a cruising speed of 15 knots.
“Sui Generis perfectly embodies the spirit of the DOM133 line,” Baglietto CCO Fabio Ermetto said in a statement. “A modern, elegant, and highly customizable yacht, capable of meeting the most specific needs of the owner.”
The 133-footer left the Italian shipyard last week.

The DOM133 series has been a solid success, with nine units launched in the past three years. The first DOM133, named Attitude, was launched on March 25, 2022, paving the way for eight other 133-footers. The latest launch demonstrates Baglietto’s ability to craft highly customized superyachts for highly discerning clients.
“It [Sui Generis] confirms the success of a line that has perfectly interpreted the demands of an increasingly discerning market,” adds Ermetto.
It has been a busy year for Baglietto. The Italian yard has launched seven yachts in the past seven months, including the first superyacht in the DOM115 line and the eighth Baglietto T52 yacht. Sui Generis is easily the boldest new addition, though.
