Notorious B.I.G.’s Mom Reacts to Sean “Diddy” Combs Allegations

After Rolling Stone published a bombshell report on Sean “Diddy” CombsNotorious B.I.G.‘s mother, Voletta Wallace, is sharing her thoughts on the mogul’s ongoing allegations.

“I’m sick to my stomach,” Wallace told the publication about the allegations of violence and sexual abuse against Combs. “I’m praying for Cassie. I’m praying for his mother. I don’t want to believe the things that I’ve heard, but I’ve seen [the hotel video]. I pray that he apologizes to her.”

She went on to say that she hopes that she sees Combs one day. “The only thing I want to do is slap the daylights out of him. And you can quote me on that,” she added. “I liked him. I didn’t want to believe all the awful things, but I’m so ashamed and embarrassed.”

She also reiterated that Combs should “apologize” to his mother, Janice Combs: “I hope to God he sits her down and spills his guts and apologize to her.”

On Wednesday, Rolling Stone published a report in which they interviewed dozens of Combs’ former friends and colleagues and detailed Combs’ alleged history of using violence and intimidation, providing graphic descriptions of a series of harrowing incidents.

In one of the anecdotes shared in the report, former Bad Boy partner and president Kirk Burrowes alleged that Combs felt “jealous” when Tupac Shakur and Biggie became friends. Hip-hop photographer Monique Bunn also alleged that Notorious B.I.G. (real name Christopher Wallace) had plans to leave Bad Boy shortly before his death: “I know for a fact [because] he told me that.”

Meanwhile, Burrowes also alleged that when Rolling Stone approached Combs after Wallace’s death with plans to put him on their cover, Combs insisted he take the spot instead ahead of the release of his new album.

The report came amid Combs facing multiple allegations that were first prompted when his former girlfriend Cassandra Ventura, the singer known as Cassie, filed a lawsuit in November 2023 alleging sexual and physical abuse over nearly a decade. Despite first denying the claims, a 2016 surveillance video that showed him violently assaulting Cassie in a hotel was obtained and released by CNN, which Combs later addressed in an apology video.

After quickly settling his suit with Cassie, Combs faced three more suits from women alleging sexual assault. Then, in March, Combs’ homes in Los Angeles, New York and Miami were raided by federal agents amid a sex trafficking investigation.

When asked about the Homeland Security federal investigation and active sexual assault lawsuits against Combs, Wallace told Rolling Stone, “I leave it to time.”
