Pink to Perform With Dallas Green as You + Me at Rock4EB! Fundraiser
Superstar Pink and singer-songwriter Dallas Green will reunite as you + me at Rock4EB!
The pair committed to headline the Epidermolysis Bullosa Medical Research Foundation’s annual fundraiser by performing as you + me, their former music duo. The event, typically a star-packed affair set against the backdrop of the Pacific Ocean, will take place once again at a private residence in Malibu on Sept. 21. Judd Apatow will be back once again to host the evening, which will also feature a comedy performance by Jim Jeffries and a live auction handled by Billy Harris.
The you + me outing reunites Pink with Green after they came together to form the band more than 10 years ago. They released an album, Rose Ave., on Oct. 14, 2014, and made multiple live appearances together. Green is perhaps best known for his critically acclaimed run as indie standout City and Colour.
Pink and Green will join a roster of Rock4EB! performers and participants that includes Brad Pitt, Adam Sandler, Eddie Vedder, Sting, Chris Cornell, Brandi Carlile, Judd Apatow and Kevin Nealon, among others. The guest list in years past has featured the likes of Julia Roberts, Sean Penn, Courteney Cox, Elizabeth Olsen, Kaley Cuoco, Rami Malek, Charlie Hunnam, Garrett Hedlund, Leslie Mann, Maude Apatow, Cindy Crawford, Rande Gerber, Kaia Gerber, Bill Maher, Kim Basinger and hundreds of others. Strong celebrity support is expected again.
EBMRF is billed as the only all-volunteer nonprofit funder of research for the rare and life-threatening condition known as epidermolysis bullosa. EB is a rare genetic disorder that affects the skin, causing it to tear, blister and/or shear, which causes severe pain, disfigurement and wounds that sometimes never heal. Brillstein Entertainment Partners’ power manager Andrea Pett-Joseph spearheads the event with husband Paul and their son Brandon, who lives with the condition.
“It’s nice to see the progress, but there’s so much more to do. I love coming to this event, and it’s so wonderful to see these kids every year,” Cox told The Hollywood Reporter in 2019 about why she turns out year after year to support the cause and the Josephs. “There’s only like 500,000 cases in the world, so we need to get the message out. If you don’t know somebody, it’s hard to stay present with it, but if you were to know or meet one of these kids today, you never stop thinking about it.”

Pink is fresh off her appearance onstage at Chicago’s United Center alongside daughter Willow to perform “What About Us” at the DNC. She’s in the midst of her Summer Carnival Tour and will segue to the Rock4EB! after a sold-out show at Los Angeles’ Dodger Stadium.
Per intel online, you + me is also booked to perform the night before Rock4EB!, on Sept. 20, at One805Live!, a concert to support Santa Barbara’s first responders. That event, hosted by Kevin Costner, features a program with Kenny Loggins, Alan Parsons, Al Stewart, Jordan Asher Huffman, Plastic Harpoons and the Santa Barbara Symphony, among others.
