The 10 Best Wine Festivals to Attend in 2026 and 2027

A small group of Oregon sparkling winemakers, including Jeanne Feldkamp, Dan Diephouse, and Andy Lytle, came together and hosted the first Method Oregon Grand Tasting in 2025, making it the newest festival on the calendar. They welcomed 280 attendees and media for a single-day event that included lectures, lunch, and a grand tasting featuring sparkling wines from 22 participating wineries.  Given the success of the inaugural event, the group founded the Method Oregon nonprofit in 2026 with the mission of establishing Oregon as a world-class sparkling wine region, and the group now boasts over 55 member wineries. This year’s event will host more than 500 attendees for a three-day celebration featuring winemaker panel discussions, production facility tours, intimate winemaker tastings, a block party with food trucks and a DJ, and a grand tasting at Domaine Willamette where more than 80 sparkling wines will be served. This is certainly a festival to watch.

Often referred to as the “Oscars of Fine Wine,” the Golden Vines is considered one of the premier luxury wine events of the wine year. The location changes each year, but one can always expect interesting master classes and exclusive events throughout the weekend as well as a not-to-be-missed black-tie awards ceremony and gala dinner on Saturday night. This year the chef is Simon Rogan, the three-Michelin-starred chef behind L’Enclume in Cartmel, U.K., and wines being poured will include Krug and Dom Perignon Champagnes, Château Angelus, Penfolds Grange, and Hermitage La Chapelle. A stunning musical performance by Aiyanna-Lee will top off the evening. All proceeds go to the Gérard Basset Foundation, the world’s leading charity assisting individuals from underserved communities in the wine, spirits, and hospitality industries.

The Naples Winter Wine Festival will celebrate its 27th year in 2027. Of all the charitable wine festivals, this one grosses the most money year after year, with the latest installment totaling well over $30 million. Since its inaugural event in 2001, NWWF has raised more than $366 million. The festival supports the Naples Children Foundation, which assists vulnerable youth in Collier County with education, healthcare, and emotional well-being. Guests of the weekend festival enjoy stunning cuisine paired with perfectly matched wines during intimate dinners at private homes and landmark buildings across Naples. But the main event is the live auction where attendees can bid on unique and exclusive wine and travel experiences while sipping world-class wines.

The South Beach Wine & Food Festival was founded by Lee Brian Schrager in 2002 as a unique destination event featuring some of the world’s best winemakers, chefs, and spirit producers. Today the festival boasts more than 100 events, 500 chefs, winemakers, food personalities, and distillers, plus more than 60,000 attendees. To date, the festival has raised more than $46 million to help support the Florida International University Chaplin School of Hospitality & Tourism Management. The school provides hands-on educational opportunities in the world of hospitality.

Cost: Prices vary, but tickets to individual events can be purchased for as little as $59.   

Taste Washington launched in 1998 as a small regional Washington wine tasting, and it now holds the honor of being the nation’s largest single-region wine and food festival featuring growers, winemakers, and Pacific NW chefs. One of the hallmarks of the festival includes seminars by winemakers, Masters of Wine, Master Sommeliers, and national wine authorities who lead attendees through guided tastings, conversations, panels, and rare pours of exceptional wine. Other events include a dinner series, Pacific Standard seafood and bubbles, a grand tasting, and the New Vintage, a sophisticated food-and-wine evening featuring dishes from Washington’s top chefs, pours from leading wineries, and signature cocktails. Attendance in 2026 was 8,400 guests.

The first Pebble Beach Food & Wine was held in 2008, and today it is one of the nation’s premier culinary events. Now hosted by the Pebble Beach Company Foundation, the event raises funds for more than 10,000 students in Monterey County and 120 charitable organizations each year. The lineup of extraordinary talent includes more than 150 chefs and 150 wine and spirit producers, who participate in more than 50 events throughout the weekend. Food and wine pairings are available throughout the weekend, and tickets to sit-down lunches and dinners sell out quickly. Pebble Beach Food & Wine currently hosts 10,000 guests each year, with attendees able to participate in not only culinary events but also beachside cocktail parties, scenic golf outings, and intimate wine cellar experiences.

Cost: In 2026, a Walk-Around Package cost $1,750, the Gold Package cost $3,995, and the Diamond Package cost $7,500 per person.

Healdsburg Wine & Food Experience weekend was created to spotlight the vibrant agricultural history of Sonoma. The 2026 event spanned four days with 17 events and over 5,000 total attendees. Participating chefs included Sonoma’s own Dustin Valette, Joe Sasto, Ari Weiswasser, Tracey Shepos Cenami, and Lee Anne Wong, to name a few. Everything from light bites to sit-down meals were paired with exceptional local wines. Beneficiaries include the Future Farmers of America Scholarship Fund, which assists economically challenged students wanting to pursue a career in agriculture, as well as Farm to Pantry, whose goal is to share locally grown food with those in need.

The Nantucket Wine & Food Festival was founded by Denis Toner in 1996, and with the help of Nantucket Island restaurants, retailers, and food purveyors, it now draws over 4,000 attendees for the annual spring event. It is now run by owner and producer Nancy Bean, and it is highly anticipated by visitors and locals each year because it marks the opening of the island tourist season. There are more than 50 events during the weekend, including caviar and seafood pairings, Champagne tastings, and wine seminars. One of the most popular events is the Island Gala walkaround tasting with small plates prepared by local chefs. The Nantucket Wine & Food Festival Charitable Foundation is the non-profit branch that supports the Nantucket Island community, history, and natural resources.

Next event: May 19-23, 2027.
Cost: Individual tickets to tasting events and classes are $200 and up. The Island Gala walk-around wine tasting was $450 in 2026.

The Aspen Food & Wine Classic got its start in 1983 as the Aspen/Snowmass International Wine Classic with just about 300 attendees. It was founded by Gary Plumley of the Grape & Grain in Aspen and Bob and Ruth Kevan of Chez Grandmere in Snowmass Village. Today the event sells out soon after tickets go on sale in December, and the number of attendees is capped at 4,000. The event features more than 60 chefs and personalities, plus more than 80 wine seminars, cooking demonstrations, panel discussions, and spirits tastings. Also featured are five grand tastings where participants can taste small plates and beverages prepared by 150 chefs, winemakers, and distillers. Past charities have included Food & Wine Gives, No Kid Hungry, and the Southern Smoke Foundation, which provides emergency relief funding and mental health services to food and beverage professionals nationwide.

Auction Napa Valley was founded in 1981 by a group of wineries and vintners who came together to raise money for Napa Valley Vintners’ Youth Wellness Initiative to help empower Napa youth to lead healthier lives. It’s a packed, fun-filled weekend that starts with intimate and luxurious winery dinners on Thursday and Friday evening hosted by vintners and their families. On Friday afternoon, the main event is the barrel auction, and Saturday evening features a live auction of rare Napa Valley wines and luxury travel packages, with guests feasting on an exceptional, farm-fresh fare at a gala dinner while rubbing elbows with Napa Valley winemakers, winery owners, and local celebrities.
