The Pagani Huayra 70 Anima Is a Birthday Tribute to Horacio Pagani
Pagani is finally done wishing its founder a happy 70th.
The bespoke hypercar specialists have just unveiled the third and final Huayra 70 built to celebrate the start of Horacio Pagani’s seventh decade of life. The Anima, which is meant to represent the soul of the atelier, was unveiled this past weekend by Pagani himself at the Concours at Wynn Las Vegas.
Like its predecessors, the Trionfo and Derecho, the Anima is the work of Pagani’s Grandi Complicazioni special projects division. Each of the birthday edition Huayras is stunning in its own way, but photos of the latest entry suggest the designer’s eponymous marque saved the best for last.
Inside the Pagani Huayra 70 Anima
Pagani
The third Huayra 70 is based on the roadster version of the brand’s second model. Its sculptural carbon-fiber body is finished in a magnificent coat of diamond-infused Custom Metallic with Inky Blue accents and hand-flowered platinum leaf striping. It also has a unique aero package with an exaggerated front splitter, side skirts, a giant intake positioned above the cockpit, roll loops, and a giant rear wing. Rounding out the exterior flourishes is a six-pipe exhaust finished in white ceramic.
The exterior colorway has been inverted for the Anima’s interior. The two-seat cabin is covered almost in lush white upholstery with blue trim and machined details, including its gear shifter (more on that in a moment) and many physical buttons and switches. There’s also a plaque positioned between the seats identifying the vehicle as the third Huayra 70 model.

The Huayra 70 Anima features a seven-speed manual gearbox.
Pagani
Curiously, Pagani has yet to say anything about the vehicle’s powertrain. The car is expected to have the same Mercedes-AMG 6.0-liter twin-turbocharged V-12 found in most street-legal version of the Huayra, according to the Supercar Blog. One thing we do know for sure about the engine is that it is paired to a seven-speed manual. That gearbox wasn’t available in the hypercar until the Epitome variant was unveiled in 2024, more than 13 years after the Huayra first debuted.
The Anima, like the Trionfo before it, is believed to be a one-off (the Derecho is a few-off). No price has been announced, but a seven-figure fee is all but guaranteed. The Huayra started at $1.4 million originally, but later models cost significantly more.
