This New 262-Foot Superyacht Has a Supersized Foredeck With a Helipad and Jacuzzi

Just when you thought you were done seeing riffs on Oceanco’s Simply Custom superyacht, the Dutch yard reveals another take on the 262-footer.

Christened Domino, the latest concept comes from the drawing board of Nuvolari Lenard. The Venice-based studio, known for penning landmark vessels such as the 282-foot Lürssen Quattroelle, 267-foot Oceanco Alfa Nero, and the 350-foot Oceanco Black Pearl, continues to push the envelope of yacht design by incorporating game-changing features and areas for health and wellness. Domino is a prime example.

The newcomer showcases a sleek hull, elongated bow, and cascading curved decks. All three decks are fitted with glass bulwarks that create a more seamless connection to the sea. Forward, the supersized foredeck doubles as a helipad for your chopper and is also home to a Jacuzzi. To the aft, a large swimming pool is flanked by two sets of stairs that lead to the swim platform.

“Across its [Dominos] layout, external form and internal style distills over 30 years experience in the business,” studio founders Dan Lenard and Carlo Nuvolari said in a statement. “We believe it represents the state of the art, in terms of beauty and functionality, while also offering an owner a starting point from which to create a yacht that is perfectly suited to them.”

As for the interior, the Simply Custom yachts range in volume range from approximately 2,500 to 2,700 GT. The vessels are typically fitted with an owner’s stateroom and six guest suites. The layout can be further customized to the owner, of course.

Regarding performance, each yacht in the series will be powered by a hybrid diesel-electric propulsion system that is capable of running on low-carbon biofuels. Furthermore, the vessels will be equipped with variable speed generators, a highly optimized stabilization system, and podded drives that together increase efficiency and smoothness on the seas.

First announced at the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show in October of 2023, the Simply Custom series includes 17 vessels that have been customized by different designers. To date, Oceanco has revealed yachts designed by Espen Øino, H2 Yacht Design, and Hot Lab. The Dutch yard told Robb Report it will continue to release the designs in alphabetical order every Tuesday and Saturday. Expect more reveals yet, then.
