Not all exclusive sports cars are created equal.

The Lamborghini Countach LPI-800-4 may not yet be the investment it initially looked to be, but the same can’t be said about the Porsche 911 S/T Heritage Edition. A barely driven example of the anniversary model is currently up for auction on Bring a Trailer, and it’s guaranteed to sell for significantly more than it cost brand new.

The 911 S/T Heritage Edition is nowhere near as rare as the Countach LPI-800-4—1,963 examples were built, compared to 112—but it’s still a special car. The limited-edition variant was announced in 2023 as a celebration of the 60th anniversary of Porsche‘s most iconic sports car. The vehicle is basically a grab bag of the 992 generation’s best features, including the GT3 RS’s flat-six and a six-speed manual gearbox, along with a slew of model-specific details, including a double-bubble roof.

The example up for grabs is the 1,421st that rolled off the line, all of which were 2024 model years. It’s finished in a brilliant coat of white over a black and Classic Cognac interior. It comes equipped with the Heritage design package, which adds exclusive luxury details inside and out, including a historic 1963 Porsche crest up front, gold badging, and even more leather than the standard version. The original owner seems to have decided that the package’s racing graphics were too much and passed on their inclusion.

As mentioned earlier, the 911 S/T Heritage Edition is powered by a naturally aspirated 4.0-liter flat-six. This mill makes 518 hp and 343 ft lbs of torque, all of which is routed to the rear wheels via a six-speed manual transmission (neither an automatic nor a PDK gearbox were even available as options). Thanks to all that grunt, and the lightest construction in the first half of the 992 generation, the car can sprint from zero to 60 mph in just 3.7 seconds and hit a top speed of 186 mph. This example also only has 242 miles on the odometer and comes with a clean Carfax report, suggesting it’s in superb condition.

If you missed out on the 911 S/T Heritage Edition earlier this decade, this is another chance to add the car to your collection. Prepare to spend big, though. With three days left to go, bidding has already topped $526,000, significantly more than the roughly $300,000 the car cost originally.
