Unicorn Academy is getting a second season.

The fantasy-adventure series will return June 27 on Netflix with a 44-minute special and nine 22-minute episodes.

The show hails from Spin Master, a global children’s entertainment company that’s behind such brands as PAW Patrol, Hatchimals, Melissa & Doug, Rubik’s Cube and GUND.

“The allure of Unicorn Academy’s characters with their unbreakable bonds and magical adventures has captivated audiences around the world,” said Jennifer Dodge, Spin Master president of entertainment. “The journey is far from over, as Chapter Two of Unicorn Academy promises fans more extraordinary moments and new tales of friendship and adventure.”

The logline for Season 2: “The stars are shining over Unicorn Island! The Academy throws a masquerade ball in honor of the rare Fairy Moon. And Sophia and Wildstar embark on a magical quest to find the shooting stars of the Unicorn Constellation, in hopes that Sophia can bring back her father. But not all the Sapphires are on board with the mission, and there’s a mysterious stranger stalking the island, trying to get to the stars first.”

In addition to the streaming episodes, Season 2 will be accompanied by complementary digital shorts, music videos and character vlogs.

The first season of the show debuted in November 2023 as the No. 1 kids show globally.
