67 Pall Mall Launches a New En Primeur Membership in Hong Kong

Wine connoisseurs will be delighted to know that London’s largest private members’ wine club, 67 Pall Mall, has finally arrived in Hong Kong with a new category of membership that enables full access to all Clubs globally and exclusive fine wine experiences within the home city.

Instead of a physical Club in Hong Kong, 67 Pall Mall is offering En Primeur for the first time, a membership offering that opens the doors to all Clubs in London, Singapore and Verbier, as well as upcoming Clubs in Melbourne, Beaune and Bordeaux. Designed for the jet set wine lover, En Primeur allows members to connect with others in the wine community through exclusive events and tastings in their home city, while accessing all of 67 Pall Mall’s global portfolio for a new and truly elevated level of vinous experiences. The London Club features 1,000 wines by-the-glass and a collection of 6,000 bottles. The Singapore Club’s collection is the same, making it the largest list in all of Southeast Asia. In Verbier, 67 Pall Mall has a 3,000-strong wine list and a by-the-glass list of over 500 lines, the broadest in Switzerland.

An En Primeur membership will give members access to an unrivalled programme of wine experiences in the city, with exclusive programmes such as eye-opening masterclasses by world-renowned experts, as well as stimulating dinners, explorative tastings and casual socials. As part of its mission to build wine communities in the most important cities around the world, 67 Pall Mall is passionate about fostering a comfortable environment for members to try new wines and expand their horizons. Education programmes are also available for members, via the Wine & Spirit Education Trust (WSET) courses overseen by Masters of Wine.

To start, 67 Pall Mall is kicking off its En Primeur membership with a series of wine events hosted at The Upper House, headed by Richard Hemming, a Master of Wine and the Club’s Head of Wine in Asia. Next in spring, Jane Anson, the world’s foremost expert on Bordeaux wines will lead a Year of the Dragon vertical masterclass of Bordeaux from 2012, 2000 and 1988, with hand-picked chateaux such as Angélus, Beychevelle and Pichon-Comtesse to showcase the three distinct stages of maturity.
