Cadillac Just Launched a New Bespoke Program for CT5-V Blackwings

Cadillac is the latest to offer customers new ways to make their new luxury cars bespoke, or at least highly custom, unveiling a program called Curated by Cadillac on Tuesday that will be offered for 2026 CT5-V Blackwings.
Options include exterior color, of course, with Cadillac saying that it has 160 colors to choose from, “including high-gloss and frost finishes,” while, inside, customers can choose from different colors as well as different materials. The goal is for buyers to make themselves something one-of-a-kind, “as individual and unique as the client.” That may also have the inadvertent effect of reducing the car’s resale value — since used car buyers, as a general rule, prefer everything stock — but that might be of little concern to the new CT5-V Blackwing buyer, when you can have what you want now.

Cadillac says that Curated by Cadillac is an outgrowth of its experience making the Celestiq, an all-electric car that starts in the “low-$400K.” That car is meant to challenge the ultra-luxury market, including Rolls-Royce, Bentley, and Mercedes-Maybach.
Like the Curated by Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing, the Celestiq is hand-built, and the acquisition process is the opposite of buying off the lot. Instead, buyers are paired with a “concierge,” who works with local dealers to make unique cars for customers, offering advice along the way.
“Concierge experience spans across fashion, entertainment, fine arts, and design,” Cadillac said in a statement. “From working with some of the world’s most renowned artists and brands to designing the interiors of luxury homes, their craft and impeccable attention to detail earn them a spot as trusted advisors to Curated by Cadillac 2026 CT5-V Blackwing clients.”

The 2026 CT5-V Blackwing starts at around $100,000, but Cadillac said the Curated by Cadillac CT5-V Blackwings will start at around $158,000, a significant premium. That price premium is also a hint as to why so many automakers these days are heading in a bespoke direction, or at least remarketing current efforts.
Cadillac says that production will start in the middle of next year, and that every Curated by Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing will be built in Warren, Michigan. CT5-V Blackwings are powered by a 6.2-liter V-8 that is supercharged and makes 688 horsepower. A six-speed manual transmission is also available, in addition to a 10-speed automatic.
