Bentley Just Unveiled a Purple One-Off Continental GTC
Bentley knows how to throw a party.
The British luxury marque is celebrating 80 years of building cars at the storied production facility in Crewe with a one-of-a-kind Continental GTC. The gorgeous open-top grand tourer features a unique purple paint job that shows off the craftsmanship of Bentley’s self-proclaimed “Dream Factory.”
The stunning convertible, which we’ll call the Continental GTC 80th Anniversary Edition, was unveiled during a gathering of 107 Bentleys—including everything from the EX3 to the most recent Flying Spur Speed—charting the automaker’s 107-year history. Every single vehicle built from 1946 onward rolled off the line at the Pyms Lane site, which is located in the town of Crewe in Cheshire, England. A lot has changed over the past eight decades, but the factory, which is currently undergoing upgrades meant to help future-proof it, is where the craftsmanship traditions of yore are still practiced and will continue to be even as the brand prepares to release its first EV, the Torcal.
The Bentley Continental GTC 80th Anniversary Edition is finished in Supernova Purple Ombre

The one-off is based on the fourth-generation Continental that debuted in 2024. The curvaceous vehicle, which was designed and crafted by Bentley’s Mulliner bespoke division specifically for the occasion, is finished in Supernova Purple Ombre. The special unique shifts “seamlessly” between Supernova Purple to Supernova Purple Dark depending on the angle it’s viewed at and is topped with a bespoke “80” graphic with a reverse ombre effect. The wheels also have a contrasting finish that echoes the theme. Inside, the spacious four-seat cabin is covered in black leather upholstery, has the number “80” stitched into each headrest, and features a graphic depicting Crewe’s design studio.
No mechanical details were released, but the most potent version of the plug-in hybrid Continental GTC is powered by a 4.0-liter V-8 paired with an electric motor that combine to make up to 771 hp and 738 ft lbs of torque. That convertible can sprint from zero to 60 mph in 3.3 seconds and reach a top speed of 190 mph.

Bentley also didn’t say if it had built the Continental GTC 80th Anniversary Special for itself or a client. Regardless, we feel pretty confident in saying the vehicle has a cost well north of the convertible’s $323,550 starting price.
