Custom Line Just Launched Its First 128-Foot Saetta Superyacht
Custom Line has kicked off a new Saetta era.
The Italian builder, one of seven owned by yachting behemoth Ferretti Group, launched the first 128-footer in the series in Ancona, Italy, on September 30. The new Saetta 128 is sandwiched between three other models, measuring more than the Saetta 106 and 120 but less than the flagship 140. It also showcases a fresh new design language.
Custom Line relaunched its planing line at the Monaco Yacht Show in 2025, renaming it Saetta—Italian for “arrow” or “dart”—and unveiling the next-gen 128. The newcomer retains the line’s signature sporty aesthetic and arrow-shaped planing hull, but introduces a new tri-deck arrangement.

Featuring exteriors by SY Design and interiors by ACPV Architects, the 128 is designed for indoor-outdoor living with a natural flow across three decks. With a beam of just over 25 feet, the yacht offers relatively spacious living quarters but remains below the 300 GT threshold.
The distinguishing feature is the skylounge on the upper deck. It measures 215 square feet, but can be fully opened to a terrace spanning 430 square feet to create one big entertaining area. Below that, the main deck features a large lounge and dining area that opens to the spacious aft deck. The sprawling owner’s suite is also located on the main deck, occupying the bow with a large bedroom, en suite, and dressing area. Another level down, the lower deck offers three VIP and one guest cabin that can collectively sleep up to 10, along with crew quarters for up to six.

Heading outside, the lengthy foredeck is home to a lounge and Jacuzzi, the sundeck is dotted with sunbeds, and the stern is equipped with a dual-mode transom that combines a garage, a submersible platform, and a beach club into one single system.
The 128 is semi-custom, like previous models, meaning owners can pick from a wide array of interior finishes, layouts, and furnishings. The first unit takes on the “Perfect Mood” interior concept, with a sophisticated palette of brown lacquer, walnut and maple wood, white marble, and textured ivory wallpaper.

Powered by twin MTUs rated at 2,638 hp each, the yacht has an economic cruising speed of 11 knots, a cruising speed of 19 knots, a top speed of 22 knots, and a range of 1,000 nautical miles. It can also be equipped with an SCR (Selective Catalytic Reduction) system that reduces nitrogen oxide (NOx) emissions by up to 70 percent to meet IMO Tier III regulations.
The 128 has already won the hearts of a few seafarers, with three yachts already sold, according to Custom Line.
