Melco Resorts Lead Macau in Michelin Stars Attained in 2024
Combined, their restaurants across City of Dreams, Studio City and Altira Macau has earned more Michelin Stars than any other hotel group in the city.
This year, Melco Resorts and Entertainment has proved to be the big winner at the Michelin Guide Hong Kong and Macau 2024 ceremony. With eight Michelin Stars across three main properties, the group now leads the Macau region with most stars attained, so next time you’re in town, make sure to pay their hotels a visit if you’re looking to satisfy your inner gastronome.
Jade Dragon
Spearheading the group’s culinary excellence is Cantonese restaurant Jade Dragon. The City of Dreams establishment has now retained its three-Michelin-Star rating for the sixth consecutive year, a true testament to the hard work, creativity and innovation by executive chef Kelvin Au Yeung and his exceptional team.

Alain Ducasse at Morpheus
Earning two Michelin Stars for the sixth year in a row is Alain Ducasse at Morpheus, and you wouldn’t expect anything less from a restaurant conceived by one of the most revered culinary figures in the world. The restaurant pays homage to the time-tested traditions and savoir-faire of French cuisine, offering diners a taste of European elegance without having to jet-set half way across the globe.

Pearl Dragon
Under the helm of Hong Kong-born chef Otto Wong, Pearl Dragon has managed to retain it’s one-Michelin-Star rating once again, originally being awarded it for the first time back in 2017. The longevity of the Studio City restaurant’s success is no doubt due to Wong’s more than 20 years of experience in the kitchen, working across numerous Michelin-Starred restaurants before channeling his gastronomic expertise towards the vibrant Cantonese fare at Pearl Dragon.

Over at Altira Macau is Ying, which, just like Pearl Dragon, has managed to keep its one Michelin Star since 2017. Last but not least, Melco presents Sushi Kinetsu in the City of Dreams. The Japanese restaurant offers authentic Edomae sushi across a mesmerising, centuries old Hinoki wood bar that transcends just a simple dining experience.
