Michelin Information 2024: The Full Record of Stars in Hong Kong and Macau
The Michelin Guide has just announced its list of awardees for 2024 in Macau, and aside from some familiar names, there are also plenty of newcomers and promotions on the list.
In total, 79 restaurants in Hong Kong and 16 in Macau have received awards at the 16th edition of the Michelin Guide for Hong Kong and Macau, with seven receiving the holy grail of three stars in Hong Kong and two in Macau.
The Michelin Guide rated the restaurants based on five major criteria:
- Quality of ingredients
- Harmony between flavours
- Mastery of cooking techniques
- Expression of the chef’s personality in their cuisine
- Value for money
