Rezvani’s Latest Model Is a Bulletproof Lamborghini Urus
Only Rezvani could look at the Lamborghini Urus and feel the need to throw caution to the wind.
The California-based custom shop just unveiled its version of the Italian marque’s class-defining super SUV. Dubbed the Knight, the new build is definition of over-the-top, with bulletproof armor, electrified door handles, and even better performance than before.
It makes perfect sense why Rezvani would turn its attention to the Urus. The best-selling Lambo has redefined what an SUV can be since making its debut in 2017. It also cleared the way for other sports cars makers, like Aston Martin and Ferrari, to get into the class (though the latter still refused to call the Purosangue an SUV). What better vehicle to overhaul and upgrade.

Although it has worked its magic on sports cars, like the Porsche 911, Rezvani bread and butter is turning out hulking vehicles that look like they can survive the apocalypse. The Knight is far from a giant, but it certainly seems prepared for the latter. Rezvani has dressed up the Urus’ bold design with aggressive fender flares, sculpted body panels, and a gunmetal gray paint job. The “Dark Knight” trim package adds bulletproof armor and glass, underside explosive protection, combat-grade run-flat tires, reinforced bumpers for ramming, and electrified door handles. The add-on’s name is clearly meant to conjure up images of the Caped Crusader, and this version of the build does, indeed, look just like a Batmobile.
The shop’s work isn’t limited to the Urus’ exterior. The interior may not look all that different from that of the standard SUV, but it comes equipped with a thermal imaging system, an emergency communication system with a loudspeaker, bulletproof vests and helmets, gas masks, and a first aid kit.

The powertrain has also been upgraded. The Knight is powered by a twin-turbocharge 4.0-liter V-8 that has been tuned to produce more than 800 hp. That makes the mill 143 hp more powerful than the one found in the last-gen Urus, and the 11 hp more powerful than the hybrid setup in the new SE. The shop also promises that its SUV can sprint from zero to 60 mph in three seconds flat, which is a half-second faster than the first electrified Urus.
The Knight, like all of Rezvani builds, will be limited to just 100 examples. It won’t come cheap, either. The build starts at $149,000, which doesn’t include the donor vehicle. Because of that, a cost of around a half-million dollars for a fully loaded SUV isn’t out of the question.
