Tecnomar and Lamborghini’s New 101-Foot Superyacht Enters Outfitting

A giant 7,600 hp Raging Bull for the seas is one step closer to reality.

The Italian Sea Group just announced that outfitting of the first Tecnomar for Lamborghini 101 has begun, with the 101-foot superyacht expected to launch in 2027.

“With the start of the outfitting phase, we reach the very heart of the construction process,” the Italian Sea Group CCO Gianmaria Costantino said in a statement. “This is the stage where ideas acquire substance through engineering precision and a deep culture of detail.”

Unveiled ahead of the Monaco Yacht Show this past October, the newcomer is the second yacht to come from a collaboration between Tecnomar and Lamborghini. The first, the Tecnomar for Lamborghini 63, was revealed in 2020, with the first hull launched in 2021. The 63-footer not only garnered critical acclaim—it was named Best Weekend Cruiser in Robb Report’s Best of the Best awards in 2022, in fact—but also attracted many buyers, including UFC star Conor McGregor. (A total of 63 units will be made as a nod to the year the marque was founded.)

As with the 63, the 101 showcases that unmistakable Lamborghini design DNA with sleek, aerodynamic lines, sculpted carbon fiber, and distinctive lighting clusters. The 101-footer was specifically inspired by the new Fenomeno hypercar that debuted earlier this year. The $3.5 million exotic, which will be limited to just 30 examples, has been described as “hyper-elegant,” but also aggressive by Lamborghini design director Mitja Borkert. “We give adrenaline a shape,” he told Robb Report. The yacht has a similar feel, with the aluminum and carbon exterior bold but not brutish.

Again, echoing the Lambos on land, the interiors feature hexagonal forms, the nameplate’s signature Y-shaped motifs, and refined materials. Various elements can be customized, too, just in case you wanted to replicate your Raging Bull. The layout includes an owner’s suite, one VIP cabin, and two guest cabins, which can collectively accommodate nine guests. There are also three crew cabins.

In terms of grunt, the 101 packs a much more powerful punch than the 1,065 hp Fenomeno. Powered by three MTU 16V 2000 M96L engines with a combined output of approximately 7,600 hp, the yacht has an estimated top speed of 45 knots and cruising speed of 35 knots.

“This yacht embodies more than exclusivity,” adds Costantino. “It is a statement of self-expression through a creation that unites power, design, and identity.”
