The White Lotus Season 3 cast is star-studded just like previous seasons, but where have we seen them before?

Another set of guests and staff are set to wreak havoc at a brand new White Lotus location in the third season of the critically acclaimed show. The White Lotus Season 3, which is set to start production right here in Thailand this coming February, has a pretty stacked cast which also includes some Thai talent. If you’re wondering where you’ve seen them before or where you can watch them before you see them kill/be killed/get up to chaotic hijinks in Season 3, here’s a handy list.

Jason Isaacs

The sixty-year-old English actor has been in several films and shows you probably already know. In the 2000s, he had roles in The Patriot and Black Hawk Down. He played the deliciously villainous and silver-haired Lucius Malfoy in the Harry Potter series, and on TV, he was the captain of the USS Discovery in Star Trek: Discovery. But you’ve probably also heard his voice in a lot of things and weren’t aware of it, like his portrayal of Admiral Zhao in the last season of Avatar and his work on Star Wars Rebels as the Grand Inquisitor. He recently lent his voice talents to Enver Gortash in Baldur’s Gate 3

Leslie Bibb

Fans of the MCU will probably recognise Bibb as Christine Everheart, the reporter who first appeared in Iron Man and later appeared in Iron Man 2 and What If…? She also played Lady Liberty in the short-lived Netflix superhero series Jupiter’s Legacy. But some might remember her as Carley, Ricky Bobby’s wife in Talladega Nights who leaves him for his best friend when he goes on a downward spiral.

Parker Posey

Posey’s filmography goes all the way back to 1993 when she had a role in Coneheads, the film adaptation of the popular SNL sketch. She’s since starred in many indie films but has also had roles in big blockbusters like 2006’s Superman Returns. More recently, she was in Ari Aster’s film Beau is Afraid. As for TV, she played Dr. Smith in Netflix’s Lost in Space remake, which ended in 2021. Aside from The White Lotus, she’s also set to appear in Prime Video’s reboot of Mr. & Mrs. Smith

Michelle Monaghan

In films, Monaghan has had a recurring role in the Mission Impossible franchise as Ethan Hunt’s now ex-wife. In TV, she had a role in Netflix’s Messiah and another miniseries titled Echoes. Her other films include Maid of Honor, which also starred Patrick Dempsey, and the thriller Eagle Eye where she co-starred with Shia LaBeouf. However, those of us who are old enough may recognise her from her role as Harmony Lane in Kiss Kiss Bang Bang, where she co-starred with Robert Downey Jr. and Val Kilmer.

Dom Hetrakul
