For spring 2024, Parmigiani Fleurier applies the elegant minimalism pioneered with the Tonda PF to four new releases, one an addition to the aforementioned collection and the other three marking a welcome refreshment of the classically inspired Toric family.
First, the new Tonda PF Micro-Rotor No Date, which further simplifies an already ultra-pure two-hand model by – as it says on the box – eliminating the date window. To fill that large expanse of otherwise empty dial real estate, Parmigiani Fleurier has opted for a lovely grain d’orge guilloche pattern in a sienna hue, while the 40mm stainless-steel case – it comes on an integrated bracelet – features a coin-edge bezel in platinum. Hands, indexes and the discreet PF logo are rhodium-plated, while the beautifully decorated automatic PF703 movement draws its power from a solid-platinum micro-rotor; this beautiful mechanism can be lovingly admired through the caseback crystal.

A similar aesthetic permeates the three new Toric watches, two of which are manually wound three-hand (and no date) Petite Seconde models and the third a Chronograph Rattrapante. Available in 40.6mm cases of either rose gold or 950 platinum with characteristic coin-edge bezel, the two time-only models feature a hand-grained dial in, respectively, sand gold or grey celadon (with alligator bracelets to match). Both feature a gold manufacture movement, the PF 780, which beats at 4Hz for a 60-hour reserve; they’ll be available in September. As for the new split-seconds Toric chronograph, a limited edition also to be released in the late summer, it comes in a 42.4mm case of rose gold and features a natural umber dial and rose-gold hands and applied indexes. It draws its power from the high-frequency PF361 calibre, whose 5Hz oscillations provide a 65-hour reserve.
