Lamborghini Unveils 1-of-99 Revuelto Miura 60 Homage
Lamborghini wasn’t going to let the Miura’s 60th birthday pass by without a celebration.
No, the Italian marque isn’t bringing back the legendary model, à la the polarizing Countach LPI 800-4. Instead, it will release an exclusive Revuelto that pays tribute to the company’s first supercar.
You may still be able to see the Countach in all of today’s Raging Bulls, but it’s the Miura that laid the groundwork for it and everything that followed. Lamborghini’s breakthrough vehicle, which debuted in 1966, was also the high-performance production car to feature a rear mid-engine layout. It also featured a gorgeous, flowing design penned by none other than Marcello Gandini and a potent V-12. Production would run through 1973, during which time 763 examples had rolled off the line.

The Revuelto Miura 60° Homage will be available in nine colors closely associated with the original supercar. The special hues include Rosso Arancio (red), Arancio (orange), Giallo (yellow), Verde Scandal (green), Verde Metallic (metallic green), Blu Tahiti (blue), Blu Notte (dark blue), Nero Noctis (black) and Bianco Monocerus (white). Each color features contrasting Oro Elios (gold) or Grigio Nimbus (silver) lower-body accents and wheels, along with Miura 60 branding, glosse black brake calipers, and matte black exhaust tips.
The special details carry over to the interior. The seats feature a “cannelloni” pattern similar to that found in the original Miura and, like the center console and door panels, are covered in leather. The rear bulkheads also feature special Miura 60 embroidery, while a carbon-fiber numbered plaque can be found on the driver’s side of the cabin.

One thing that hasn’t been touched is the power train, which we’re pretty sure no one will complain about. The automaker’s first series-production hybrid model features a 4.4-liter twin-turbocharged V-8 connected to a trio of electric motors that combine to pump out 1,001 hp and 793 ft lbs of torque. Thanks to the added help, the wedge-shaped speed supercar can rocket from zero to 60 mph in 2.5 seconds and reach a top speed of 217 mph.
Lamborghini plans to build just 99 examples of the Revuelto Miura 60° Homage. The marque hasn’t said anything about pricing, but we imagine it will cost a fair bit more than the standard version, which starts at $890,000. It will still likely cost less than an original Miura, though.
