Chef Richard Ekkebus of two-Michelin-starred and green-starred French fine dining restaurant Amber has designed a beautiful menu of seasonal highlights to wow you and your loved ones this Valentine’s Day. Expect foie gras, ginseng, yellow wine and Nashi pear on the menu, and wrap up with a sweet treat from Executive Pastry Chef Carles Codina. All menus come with a complimentary glass of Dom Perignon 2013 to elevate the experience. The six-course Full Amber Lunch Experience (seating between 12:00noon and 1:30pm) is priced at HKD2,988+ per person; while the eight-course Amber Dinner Experience (seating between 6pm and 9:15pm) is priced at HKD4,488+ per person.

You can’t go wrong with an evening at the New York-Italian stable. The five-course Valentine’s Day menu includes a choice of antipasti, the famous Spicy Rigatoni Vodka, main plates such as Ribeye Diana, Whole Branzino or Chicken Parmesan, and the final showdown, the dessert trolley.

Teppanyaki Mihara Goten brings the glutton out of us with their decadent 9-course Valentine’s Day Menu, which includes extravagant dishes such as Lobster Cocktail with Caviar, Pan-roasted A5 Kumamoto Wagyu Beef Tenderloin with Truffle Sauce that’s expertly prepared on the teppan grill. Famed for its Kappo concept, where the freshest seasonal ingredients are used, the menu also comes with Sautéed Chu Toro with Grated Yam and Broiled Ezo Abalone among other exquisite dishes. South Italian delight at Perla

Delight in all of Perla’s signature dishes this special Valentine’s Day. The six-course menu, available on 14 February, starts with bits of fresh seafood, Wagyu and Caviar. For the pasta course, choose between the sea urchin-based Chittara, or a spicy Ravioli, or Papparadella with Alaska king crab, while there’s a choice between a stuffed Dover Sole or charcoal-grilled Yui A5 Wagyu. To finish, Red Moon is the restaurant’s signature dessert specially crafted for this romantic occasion.

Choices, choices at Auor

An unforgettable culinary experience is to be had at Auor by Chef Edward Voon, who has curated a selection of dishes that promise to sweep you and your loved one off your feet on both 13 and 14 February. The six-course menus on both days offer a different selection, both equally tantalising with dishes such as Kamchatka king crab chawanmushi (on the 13th) and a Carabinero prawn ‘Fujian noodles’ (on the 14th). For an additional price, diners can also enjoy an excellent selection of wines to complement the dinner.

The two Valentine’s Day menus on 13 and 14 February are priced at $1,380 and $1,680 per person respectively, with an optional wine pairing for $880 per person, excluding service charge. Reservations here.
